Manhattan Portage Warranty Conditions

Shriro Australia, the exclusive distributor of Manhattan Portage in Australia and New Zealand, provides a conditional lifetime warranty on CORDURA® brand fabric products and a (1) one-year conditional warranty on all other fabric products.

Statement of Standard Warranty Conditions
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

What Is Covered
For the periods stated above from the date of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge for both parts and labour, provided a defect in materials and/or workmanship has been verified by the place of purchase or Shriro Australia Customer Service.

How To Claim
Shriro Australia recommends that consumers register their warranty by completing the electronic form available at the bottom of this page. To obtain warranty services, please contact the place of purchase or Shriro Australia Customer Service with a copy of your proof of purchase showing the date of purchase. In the event proof of purchase is lost, your online registration will be referenced.

What Is Not Covered
Consumer shall not have any claim under this warranty if:

  1. The problem is caused by accidental damage, fair wear and tear (including natural breakdown of materials), improper, rough or careless treatment causing physical damage (to components including buckles, fabric, zippers and foam).
  2. Intentional modification of the product including machine washing/dying, dry cleaning or removal of the brand label/serial number tag.
  3. The problem is caused by fire or other natural calamity.
  4. The problem is caused by anyone other than a Shriro Australia authorised service centre.
  5. The proof of purchase is not presented when requesting service.
  6. The warranty period has expired.
    This warranty is only valid on products purchased in Australia or New Zealand.
